At the fourth house on Halloween my neighbor gave to me...
4 peppermints,
3 sticks of gum,

At the fifth house on Halloween my neighbor gave to me...
5 POPCORN BALLS!!!

At the sixth house on Halloween my neighbor gave to me...
6 peanut clusters,
5 POPCORN BALLS!!!,
4 peppermints,
3 sticks of gum,
2 lollipops &
a large piece of chocolate taffy.

At the seventh house on Halloween my neighbor gave to me...
7 candied apples,
6 peanut clusters,

At the eighth house on Halloween my neighbor gave to me..
8 chewy caramels,
7 candied apples,

At the ninth house on Halloween my neighbor gave to me...

At the twelfth house on Halloween my neighbor gave to me...
12 cherry bonbons,

  I have been making this wonderful Medicinal Pickled Garlic for years Here is the original recipe that I use. I want to share with you. I use this in recipes when I need some healing magick or just on it's own for real strength and healing. It is so good and so good for you. A broom dropping in front of the door means company before the day is over. Always pick up, for luck, a broom that is lying on the floor or ground. Always sweep dirt out the back door or you will sweep away your best friend. Bad luck will befall  you all  year, if you sweep on New Year's Day. Burn up the rubbish when  you sweep on New Year's Day and  you will have money throughout the new year. Carry a broom under your arm for luck. Carrying a broom over your shoulder will give you bad luck. Do not sweep immediately after the departure of a guest or you will sweep him bad luck. Dropping a broom while sweeping is the sign of a new carpet. Hitting someone with a broom means that he will go to jail before a week has passed. If a broom falls as you are passing it, you will have bad luck. If a broom falls in fr! ont of you and you step over it before picking it up, you will have a "bed of sickness." Medicinal Pickled Garlic

With cold and flu season coming up soon once again I am thinking ahead this year so I am making some medicines to have ready to fight back fast. According to Gladstar’s book, “Garlic is the herb of choice in treating colds, flu, sore throats and poor or sluggish digestion… makes a potent internal and external antiseptic, antibacterial, and antimicrobial agent effective for treating many types of infection.” That is some powerful stuff!  There is much more information in the book, it is a wonderful addition to your homesteading or prepping library. Peeled garlic cloves (enough to fill a jar) Raw apple cider vinegar Raw Local Honey Fill a mason jar with garlic cloves; use any size jar you like.  Fill the jar with apple cider vinegar to cover the garlic completely.  Place the jar in a warm place for 3-4 weeks. Medicinal Pickled Garlic ~ After 3-4 weeks, strain off the liquid(this is when you will add the honey).   Set ½ the liquid aside to use as you wish.  Rosemary Gladst
