Image
Mint Incense Mint refers to any herb in the Mentha family. There is a wide variety of species in the genus. From water mint to spearmint, to pennyroyal, the mint family has many medicinal, culinary, and magickal uses. Peppermint is used for nausea, morning sickness and other gastric complaints as well as a treatment for colds and other respiratory illnesses; horsemint can be used externally for skin issues and dandruff; ginger mint is good for relieving spasms. On the culinary side, mint can be used for making tea, flavoring tea, used as a basting brush, and flavoring various fruits and veggies … especially in salads. This versatile herb definitely deserves some exploring. Magickally, mints are used in healing charms and mixtures. It also works well in travel spells. Money Bowl Manifest

Image
WHAT IT’S USED FOR: To manifest money flow! You can make a money bowl for general money flow or you can make one to manifest money from something specific (a certain job), or to help flow money to help you with something financially (house/car/major expenses/moving/etc.) WHAT YOU’LL NEED: a cleansed bowl or mug. I made this bowl from Dollar Tree glassware, painted. I cleansed the bowl with sandalwood incense, you can use what you have.(for cleansing) I used a mini candle and added some ground basil for luck. Any green or white candle will do, just be sure to cleanse it and charge it with you desired intent. 1 dollar bill (foundation/stability). I use a dollar bill as the foundation for all the other ingredients. I will never take this out. To me, this symbolizes money in a savings account. You know how there is $10 you can’t take out of your savings? This dollar bill acts as that. I charged mine with stability, that no matter what, I will keep this family out of dangerous debt. This is...

Drink Lemon Water Everyday

Image
Please listen, Drink a cup of warm, not hot, not cold, lemon water everyday first thing in the Morning before eating or drinking. You will feel so much better, be so much healthier and have a better life. Trust me, I have done it, stopped for a while and got back on it and I am living proof it works. I feel so much better when I do this daily.  Lemon Water Daily Here’s How I Use Lemon Juice Every Day 1. Drink the juice of one lemon in one cup of warm water first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach). 2. Make sure to wait 30 minutes before eating breakfast, as this will ensure your body gets the most energy and nutrients from the food you eat. Use fresh lemons (preferably organic and locally grown) and mineral rich filtered water. 3. In terms of water temperature, Goldilocks’ approach is key —not too hot, not too cold, but just right. In this case just right is lukewarm. Boiling water will destroy some of the enzymatic properties of fresh lemon, while icy cold water will ...

Teas and Ice Cubes

Image
Tea feel the joy For me, there’s a lot of comfort in a cup of tea. My childhood associations with tea are connected to memories of being safe, cared for, and loved. My grandmother always made me tea and toast, and I have many sweet associations. Boil the kettle and make tea in a favorite mug. Wrap your hands around the mug and feel the comfort of the physical heat. Smell it, sniff it in and let it warm your soul. Take a sip, and as the warm fluid slides down your throat, notice how content you feel with the warmth in your belly. With each sip, envision a caring person from your past smiling at you. Feel their love, support, and care. Drink in the comfort and joy. Taking a few moments to slow down can lower blood pressure, reduce tension, and relax muscles. Using visualization, you can weave a magical blanket of comfort and joy to snuggle into, wrapping yourself in good feeling. )0( Here are some great Tea recipes and Make Ice Cubes with herbs and fruit in them to go with your drinks. ...

Medicinal Pickled Garlic

Image
I have been making this wonderful Medicinal Pickled Garlic for years Here is the original recipe that I use. I want to share with you. I use this in recipes when I need some healing magick or just on it's own for real strength and healing. It is so good and so good for you. It takes awhile to peel all those garlic but it's well worth it, I separate each garlic into pieces and then I take a large knife and slightly smash each clove. makes it so much easier to peel each clove, I use each and every clove small and large and sperate them into the jar. Any honey will work and I buy Apple cider vinegar by the gallon because we use it for so many things. Medicinal Pickled Garlic  According to Gladstar’s book, “Garlic is the herb of choice in treating colds, flu, sore throats and poor or sluggish digestion… makes a potent internal and external antiseptic, antibacterial, and antimicrobial agent effective for treating many types of infection.”   That is some powerful stuff!...

Preserving fresh Herbs in Oil in Ice Cube trays

I like to use my fresh herbs and not waste any, this saves buy fresh or dried and you won't waste any sitting in the fridge either. Add a fresh burst of herb and olive oil flavor to your recipes in a flash…all year long. Materials Herb And Olive Oil Cubes With Ice Cube Tray Fresh herbs frozen in olive oil go from freezer right to cooking pan. Make Poke-berry Ink for Mabon

Image
I like to make many things I use and I will try just about anything, I found this poke-berry ink recipe and I wanted to share it, I hope you find poke-berries easier than I have It does really really stain, so be warned. It is toxic also so don't let anyone or critters drink or eat it. I keep mine in a dark bottle because it is light sensitive I do like using my inks for my BOS as well as some hand written spells and I hope you will try this recipe too. Have a blessed Mabon and enjoy the coming fall How to Make Poke-berry Ink Poke-weed is a purplish-red berry found in many parts of North America. In the Midwest and most northern states, it blooms in early fall, typically around mid-September -- just in time for Mabon. The poisonous red berries can be used to provide ink for writing - legend has it that the Declaration of Independence may have been drafted in poke-weed ink, although the final version that sits in the National Archives was done in iron-gall ink. Many lette...

Go Smudge yourself with my Smudge Sticks

Image
I am making Smudge Sticks and I will be happy to make some for you, how do I make them? Well each one is made from fresh grown herbs and cut carefully asking for good intentions as I collect my herbs for my smudge sticks. Here is how I do it: Take branches of Rosemary or sage or pinion, pine, or juniper or a mixture of many safe burning herbs with and colored cotton twine and sharp shears and put everything on the work table Trim your pieces into lengths of 6" to 8" inches......unroll a piece of twine long enough to wrap bundle from top to bottom...... Starting from the tips of the branches, bind them in a criss-cross manner to form a stick Continue wrapping till you reach the base Then wind the twine or threads even yarn tightly around the stems, tie a knot, and clip the excess Let it dry out so it will burn this can take a few days to weeks, depending on the time of year, the humidity where you let them dry, and the thickness of the bundles. Then to use j...

Making Smudge Bundles Smudging, Centering,Drumming, Rattling,Chanting

Image
So today I am working on making my own Smudge Bundles and I'm enjoying this To work with herbs is delightful, invigorating and energizing How to Make Smudge Bundles: I have Rosemary and Sage here for this Smudge Stick I asked my plants permission to cut some stems from each plant,  I cut 3 of each plant about 5" long Then I laid them together until I felt they laid just right for a bundle, then I took Embroidery floss, 3 threads and took a really long length, you can always cut more as you go if needed. Then I began wrapping the cut ends first around nice and tight and smoothly. Once the end is wrapped as I like, I begin to move down the length of the bundle wrapping at an angle to almost the ends of the leaves, then I turn the angle of the thread and wrap back across the bundle, this wrap is about 1/4 inch apart all the way down the bundle. This doesn't take long. I think that's looks about right so I take it down the end wrap it a couple more times and ti...
