Fairy tea set Crafting



I found this in my email, and I just think it's adorable 

I do not know the original author or I would give a link to their site; but I am sharing here 

what you will need to make these: 

Gather 
Acorns 
Birch bark 
Pine cones
Small twig 
Glue gun 

Cut your twig for the spout. 
Glue it on. to the acorn 
Cut a thin strip of birchbark and glue on for a handle. 
(It helps to fold the handle a bit a both ends for the glueing) 

Glue on your acorn cap lid.
Brew up some fairy tea!


For your itty bitty tea cups ~ cut out a small circle of birchbark.

Glue on an acorn cap. 


Cut and glue on a birch bark strip handle. 

After creating our tea set, we realized these fairies would surely appreciate a fairy flower snack. 

So we created this little plate out of pine cone scales and an acorn cap. 


 fill it with fresh flowers and invited the fairies to tea!

I use this in recipes when I need some healing magick or just on it's own for real strength and healing. It is so good and so good for you. Medicinal Pickled Garlic

With cold and flu season coming up soon once again I am thinking ahead this year so I am making some medicines to have ready to fight back fast. According to Gladstar’s book, “Garlic is the herb of choice in treating colds, flu, sore throats and poor or sluggish digestion… makes a potent internal and external antiseptic, antibacterial, and antimicrobial agent effective for treating many types of infection.” That is some powerful stuff!  There is much more information in the book, it is a wonderful addition to your homesteading or prepping library. Peeled garlic cloves (enough to fill a jar) Raw apple cider vinegar Raw Local Honey Fill a mason jar with garlic cloves; use any size jar you like.  Fill the jar with apple cider vinegar to cover the garlic completely.  Place the jar in a warm place for 3-4 weeks. Medicinal Pickled Garlic ~ After 3-4 weeks, strain off the liquid(this is when you will add the honey).   Set ½ the liquid aside to use as you wish.  Rosemary Gladst

A broom dropping in front of the door means company before the day is over. Always pick up, for luck, a broom that is lying on the floor or ground. Always sweep dirt out the back door or you will sweep away your best friend. Bad luck will befall  you all  year, if you sweep on New Year's Day.
