Things to Ponder

“Allowing dreams to emerge, gives you the strength to make them real.”

If you allow yourself to dream, to aspire, you can’t help but to begin to plan.

Once you have a plan, you can begin taking steps to make your dreams real. Whether you’ve always wanted to heal the planet or just have more time to yourself today is the time to do it. Now is the time to take advantage of your energy, wisdom, enthusiasm and vitality.

Make your dreams important in your life. Let them come to the surface and take on meaning. Once you do, you will feel better about yourself. And, the enthusiasm and energy to pursue your dreams will soar!

Just remember ...
do not judge what's on the outside!!

Sometimes people are quick
to judge others,
when what you see
isn't really all there.
People have different moods
different personalities
different desires,
so what you're really seeing
is only a mask,
of what others want you to see.
On the inside,
we all have the same desires,
a kind smile,
a warm heart,
a tender soul,
all wanting to be reached
on the inside.
We're all not perfect,
only human,
we'll have ups and downs
like a merry-go-round,
we'll make many mistakes.
But just remember,
the next time you see a person,
do not judge what's on
the outside,
we could be having a bad day.
Try and see on the inside,
and you will see,
the kind smile,
the warm heart,
the tender soul,
reaching out....

Live bigger

Most of the little things that annoy you are not worth the trouble you take to be annoyed. Choose to let them go, and live bigger.

You can replace the worry, frustration and drama in your life with peace, confidence and joy. Step back from the meaningless noise and chatter, and feel the magnificent depth of your purpose.

Real success is not a matter of mere popularity or possessions. Being truly rich comes from living with authentic purpose and meaning in every moment.

Don’t waste your life struggling to do what everyone else seems to be doing. Live your life doing what matters most to you.

Live bigger than all the little trivial things that threaten to overwhelm you. Make a difference for yourself and others in ways that are uniquely yours.

You don’t really win by winning the fight. You win by living above it.

“What you think about most molds your attitude.”

Your thoughts and beliefs are a mold for your attitude. If your thoughts are negative and self-defeating, your attitude will be the same.

If your thoughts are positive and uplifting, your outlook will be the same. What you think about most makes you what you are. It’s the repetition of the same old negative thoughts that keeps you stuck. If you want to change your attitude, use the same repetitive method. Repetitive, self-empowering thoughts are the key.

This transformation will be gradual and require persistence. Once you adopt these positive affirmations, don't get discouraged if your negative thoughts don't immediately disappear. Keep at it and you will soon see definite results.

Happiness is a state of mind
Generally speaking, the unhappiest people you will ever meet will be those who are utterly self-absorbed; the happiest people you will ever meet will be those who lose themselves in the joy and challenge of helping others.
Happiness is always attained by giving it away without expectation. Those who help others are eventually helped. You have two hands, one to help yourself and the other to help those around you.
Happiness is only available with total acceptance of who you are,
including all your fears, worries, and anxiety. It will be there for you
when you can see your own inner beauty. You cannot achieve happiness
without using your past, your flaws, insecurities, and imperfections in a
positive way. It is about letting go and detaching from unhealthy people,
ideas, and lifestyle choices, and replacing them with interdependent,
pro-active ways of thinking and responding.

 Let the past go

It’s okay that you’ve wasted some time. It’s not okay to continue doing so.

There’s nothing wrong with the fact that you’ve made some mistakes. Now, take what you’ve learned from those mistakes and use it to make some progress.

Quickly and fully forgive yourself for any shortcomings in the past. Then diligently get to work creating a bright and valuable future, starting where you are right now.

Don’t allow the past to imprison you or discourage you. Instead, let the opportunities of the present inspire you to take solid, effective action.

Life is now, so be here now and give your focus to what you can do with now. Life is now, so live it now without being weighed down by what has already come and gone.

Be truly thankful for what has brought you here, whatever it may have been. Then let the past go and let yourself soar into a magnificent, fulfilling future.

You’ll Wonder Why You Didn’t Do this Sooner
by Jane Powell

“Your appointment is confirmed.”

You set appointments all the time, with doctors, dentists, accountants, contractors and hair salons. More often than not the appointments you set actually take place. Once in a while you have to cancel an appointment, but that’s okay, because you reschedule it and place the new date and time on your calendar.

There’s one person, though, that you might never think to set an appointment with. That person is you!

Why not schedule an appointment with yourself and write it on your calendar? Schedule some time to do something fun with yourself. Make it a definite date.

When the time comes, keep the appointment, just as you would any other. After a few appointments with the all-important you, you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

When you make use of your strength, it does not get used up... It grows.|

When you give your love to others, it does not diminish the love you have.. It deepens and enriches that love.
When you teach what you know, it does not take knowledge away from you...It expands and broadens your knowledge.
When you offer kindness, you end up with even more. When you make use of discipline, your discipline grows ever stronger.
The more you live with integrity, the more integrity you'll have. The more you speak the truth, the more real truth you'll discover.
The truly valuable things in life are easy to recognize, for they're the things that never get used up. Indeed, the truly valuable things become more plentiful each and every time they're used.

Get stronger

When the difficulties come, and pile so high on top of one another that you can’t see the way forward, you have a choice. You can choose to give up, or you can choose to get stronger.
You can choose to bury your dreams under impenetrable layers of worry and fear. Or you can choose to make those dreams even more magnificent and compelling so that you cannot resist being pulled forward by them.
You can choose to feel sorry for yourself, or you can choose to feel the power of your true purpose. You can look for who is to blame, or you can look for ways to take full responsibility for the situation.
This is your life, and even the difficult stretches are very much worth living. In fact, it is during the challenging times that you build new capacity for greater richness.
When there is no obvious reason to be positive, choose to be more positive than ever before. Instead of being overwhelmed by the problems, choose to be energized by the positive possibilities hidden within them.
Feel the genuine confidence that comes from knowing you always have a choice. And choose to live the positive value in whatever life may send.

“Peace of mind comes when you appreciate what you have, instead of focus on what’s missing.”
As we grow up, we start to obsess that our families, partners, homes, cars and jobs need fixing. It’s true that some tweaking here and there may be in order; but this kind of focus may make you dwell on what is missing in your life. “If only I had . . ..” It’s this internal dialogue that makes peace of mind elusive.
Only when you feel thankful for something, can you become more fulfilled and peaceful. Accept what you have and where you are with gratitude. Feel thankful and you will feel more peaceful.
