What to do with leftover spellworkings

Do you wonder what to do with leftover spell ingredients after you have

completed the spell? I often see this question.

How to dispose of spell ingredients after the spell is com0plete The candle

stubs, herbs, crystals, and other magickal items that remain after the spell

leave us to wonder what to do with them.

First it depends on the spell. If you did a spell to raise energy or bring

things to you then it's good to hold onto it. You can also reuse some items

that have been used for those reasons.

If it was a spell to rid you of something or someone then you will need to get

rid of the remains of the spell. I do not recommend that you keep these items

on your property. I would wrap them in a bag, tie a string around them before

throwing away and do not bury them on your property.

Now while I often see it said to take these types of items into the forest

and bury them, I don't see this as logical to be roaming the forest and digging

in a park or someone else's property so I wrap mine and toss it out in the trash

can or a public dumpster say at a park or other safe spot. When you do dispose

of these items, put closure on the items as you dispose of them, this can be done silently

in your thoughts or said before you dispose of them in the trash

.

If you are allowed to burn in your area you can dispose of many items that way,

however again if it was to banish then I would get it completely off my property

and get it to the trash elsewhere as soon as possible.

You can bury the leftovers of positive spellwork on your property if you like, but

again it depends how nosey the neighbors are, as they might report your for digging

in your yard, unless you are already a gardener and then you should be safe.

I see no reason to draw attention to yourself say if you don't normally dig in your

yard to plant things. I personally don't think it's good to bury items that won't disintegrate

in the earth such as glass or some metals objects, so for those

I make sure they go to the trash or even recycle after I give the items closure.

With stones and tools you use for spellwork, just give them a good cleanse in a

safe manner and you can always reuse them. Water safe items can be cleansed with

moon water, other items with a smudge or smoke of sage or cleansing incense is good.

I use the smaller spell items for most spellwork, mini candles, small amounts

of herbs and other items. If I am doing positive spellwork, I will reuse larger

candles if it's used for similar energy workings, always with a cleanse in between spellwork.

Only in positive energy workings or healings.

Just always remember to give thanks for the spellwork and release what is done.

Stay positive stay safe.
