Go Smudge yourself with my Smudge Sticks
I am making Smudge Sticks and I will be happy to make some for you, how do I make them? Well each one is made from fresh grown herbs and cut carefully asking for good intentions as I collect my herbs for my smudge sticks. Here is how I do it: Take branches of Rosemary or sage or pinion, pine, or juniper or a mixture of many safe burning herbs with and colored cotton twine and sharp shears and put everything on the work table Trim your pieces into lengths of 6" to 8" inches......unroll a piece of twine long enough to wrap bundle from top to bottom...... Starting from the tips of the branches, bind them in a criss-cross manner to form a stick Continue wrapping till you reach the base Then wind the twine or threads even yarn tightly around the stems, tie a knot, and clip the excess Let it dry out so it will burn this can take a few days to weeks, depending on the time of year, the humidity where you let them dry, and the thickness of the bundles.
